Cuber Suites: a hotel to disconnect
The goal of Cuber Suites is to offer the experience of feeling far from the city, surrounded by nature, just a few kilometers from Amsterdam. It achieves this through a new hotel concept, consisting of 28 cabins where services operate without staff, as all management is handled through an app. The home automation integration capabilities offered by Airzone have been essential in meeting the heating and air conditioning needs of this project.
HMTX: the greenest building in Connecticut
The challenge at the HMTX offices was to create a “living” building, following the criteria defined by The Living Building Challenge. One of the requirements of this building design challenge is that buildings must give back more than they consume. That is why the offices’ photovoltaic installation covers 110% of the demand. To achieve this, it has been essential to reduce the energy consumption of the HVAC system thanks to Airzone control. Today, the HMTX offices are the greenest building in Connecticut, USA.
3260 Lake Shore Drive, Orlando: a striking renovation
This Florida home was the centerpiece in 2021 of the project The New American Remodel, the challenge of transforming an old house into a model of efficiency, comfort, and well-being. The house, built in 1973, had an energy consumption 47% higher than that of the average home today. The integration of the solar energy system, the HVAC installation, and Airzone control has made it possible to create an energy self-sufficient project.
